2024 was a challenging year across our region, marked by injustice, violence, and systemic oppression. Yet, it was also a year where the power of feminist organizing, care, and imagination shone brighter than ever. At Takatoat, we continued to hold space for one another — strategizing, dreaming, creating, and resisting together. Throughout the year, we expanded our work regionally by launching feminist schools, conducting transformative research, and building transnational solidarity rooted in justice and liberation. Each project and partnership reaffirmed that feminist work is inherently political and essential to the futures we seek. As one of our feminist school participants said, “Solidarity is our strongest form of resistance. In a world trying to divide and silence us, standing together is how we survive, and how we win.” We invite you to explore our annual report, witness our collective journey, and celebrate the milestones achieved despite ongoing struggles.
